When he was 21 years old, he already picked a design for his dreams. Badge was based on Koenisgsegg family shield. But this project was extensive and pretentious, so he has to look for partners. He didn’t wait too long, because this project had a great potential and Volvo was pleased to help. He was marvelous, but working car was finally unveiled 2000 on Paris Motor Show. Then pass by another 2 years until first car went to first costumer. It was Koenigsegg CC 8S (CC means Compact Coupe) in red color. It has V8 engine from Ford, produced 655 bhp @ 6,500rpm and need 3.5 second to get from 0 to 62mph. As early as February 22, 2003 Koenigsegg production facilities caught fire and all was destroyed. They saved just about 15 cars and were moved nearby former Swedish Airforce Base F10. The cause of the fire was short circuit in dishwasher. Nowadays they have 40 workers. In the year 2004 they built successor of CC8S, koenigsegg CCR. This car was really the beast. It has 806 ponies and need 3.2 seconds from 0 to 62mph.
